Choosing a name for your app
Be creative in choosing your name
This is the fun of making iPhone apps. What type of name would you like to call your app? Be creative, choose something fun. We do have a character limit of 35 characters for the name. This gives you enough room for a lot of name choices.
Respect copyrights and other existing apps
Make sure to search the App store to check to see if your name is already taken or if there's an app that already exists with a similar name. If an app exists with the name ABC Acme App and you wanted to call your app Super ABC Acme App, we HIGHLY recommend choosing a different name to respect their name. You can do a google search for your app name or better yet, search the app store. Note, some names may already be taken even though they may not show up in the app store. These are usually common and simple names.
Check Review Status
If you have your App Review # you can check the status of your app. You can find this number in the subject of the submission email sent to you after creating your app.
